Bed & Breakfast La Locanda del Marchese is situated at Groppoli di Mulazzo, a typical village of Lunigiana, in Tuscany, also called "The town of book-sellers".
Our B&B is close to the cities of Pontremoli, Villafranca in Lunigiana and other medieval villages, such as Filetto and Mocrone.
Bed and Breakfast Locanda del Marchese is a typical wooden country-house american-style, the only one all over Italy, with which we intended to honour the Marquis Malaspina, prince of Mulazzo.
We offer three rooms, provided with television, orthopedic beds, heating system, antique furniture, all comforts.
A rich breakfast menu, based on typical and biological products, will be served every morning.
The house, built in respect of the environment, is in the van of bio-technology and has a warm living-room, dining-room, private garden with gazebo, small parking-lot and solarium.
Bed & Breakfast Locanda del Marchese is in 2 hour's drive from Florence and Siena and in 1 and a half hour's drive from Pisa, Lucca, Prato; it is near Carrara and its marble quarries, Pietrasanta and its local markets, the Versilia, the Cinque Terre and the Golfo dei Poeti, 70 kilometres far from Parma.
